Observant TPD officers nets wanted Dorchester man.

 On November 18, 2022 at approximately 12:50PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District observed a male, later identified as Timothy Dodson, 45, of Dorchester walking on Boylston Street near Chinatown MBTA Station. The officers have previously seen Dodson's image relative to several open Armed Robbery investigation's being conducted by TPD Detectives that had occurred on the MBTA system. Officers approached Dodson near the MBTA Chinatown Station to ascertain his identity. Dodson furnished a false name and claimed he did not know his own biographical information. Subsequent to an investigation on scene officer's discovered Dodson's true identity which revealed there were numerous warrants in existence for Dodson's arrest issued out of Brighton District Court for Breaking & Entering Felony 2 counts, Indecent Assault & Battery, Dorchester District Court for Armed Robbery, Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon Serious Bodily Injury, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon 3 counts, Possession of a Class B Substance, West Roxbury District Court for Larceny, Chelsea District Court for Driving w/ a Suspended License and Suffolk Superior Court for Armed Robbery. Dodson was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
