UPDATE ***********
On May 23, 2022 at approximately 11:50AM two male victims, ages 69 & 47, while at the MBTA Shawmut Station were approached by several male juveniles at the Blue Bike racks. The juveniles produced a knife and demanded money from the victims. The victims were not in possession of money and relayed that to the group of juveniles. The juveniles then set upon the victims punching and beating them about their heads and body. The juveniles fled and made good their escape. The victims were treated on scene by Boston EMS for injuries sustained during the attack/robbery.
Subsequent to an investigation conducted by Transit Police detectives 3 additional juvenile males were placed into custody on May 27, 2022 at approximately 1:30PM inside Harambee Park, Dorchester.
Investigation is still ongoing.
