Boston man attacked female victim near Park Street station.

Loudon Fruth
On May 10, 2019 at approximately 12:40AM a Transit Police officer was at the entrance to the MBTA's Park Street station on the Boston Common when his attention was drawn to a loud commotion across the street. The officer proceeded in that direction and observed a male, later identified as Loudon Fruth, 27, of Boston. Fruth appeared to be instigating an argument with a group of people. Suddenly Fruth approached a female wrapped his arms around her, lifted her off the ground and tackled her to the pavement. Fruth landed on top of the victim causing her impact to be more substantial. Fruth then stood up and began to chase after others in the group. The officer intercepted Fruth and placed him into custody.

According to the victim as well as others in her group they are not familiar with Fruth and state the attack was unprovoked.
