Quincy man headbutts train car window.

Daniel Simmons
On December 6, 2018 at approximately 8AM Transit Police officers assigned to the South District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Andrew Sq. Station for a report of an individual who was threatening passengers and destroying MBTA property. Upon arrival officers observed a train window that had a large spider web crack. Officers then located a male, later identified as Daniel Simmons, 25, of Quincy who matched the description provided inside the train car. Officers were also informed Simmons had threatened passengers if they told police on him.

Officers asked Simmons if he had anything to do with the broken window. Simmons replied he was speaking to someone on his cell phone who made him angry so he decided to head butt the window.

Simmons was placed into custody for Malicious Destruction of Property Over 250.00 and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
