Observant TPD officer arrest Wanted Boston man.

Mark King
On February 23, 2018 at approximately 3:50PM a Transit Police officer assigned to the North District was on patroll at the MBTA's Davis Sq. station when his attention was drawn to a male, later identified as Mark King, 55, of Boston. The officer believed King closely resembled a subject who was recently depicted on a Wanted Poster. In that matter the TPD was investigating an incident where the offender entered onto a Red Line train and threatened to harm everyone on board. The officer engaged King in conversation and displayed the Wanted Poster to him and inquired if he knew the individual shown. King responded the person did look like him however the photo, King asserted, "could have been photo shopped". King was indeed the person displayed in the Wanted Poster and was placed into custody. Subsequently officers discovered King also had warrants out of Brookline District Court for Larceny and Threats to Commit a Crime. King was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
