On June 10, 2014 at approximately 9:30PM Transit Police Officers working in Area 2 were on patrol at the MBTA's Lynn Commuter Rail parking garage. While there they were approached by a female victim who informed the officers she was followed into the garage and indecently assaulted. The victim also furnished a description of the offending male. The officers conducted an area search and located a male fitting the description at the intersection of Washington and Monroe Street's. The male was positively identified as the offending male by the victim.
Manuel Gomez ,56 of Lynn, was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. It is expected Gomez will be arraigned sometime today in Lynn District Court for Indecent Assault & Battery.
