Missing Person.

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in efforts to locate 64-year-old Vivien Correa who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease. Ms. Correa was last seen at about 2:00 PM on Saturday February 10, 2018, near her residence at 940 Parker Street in Jamaica Plain wearing an outfit similar to the one pictured above. Ms. Correa is described as an Hispanic female, about 5’2” tall and about 185 lbs. Vivian may not consistently recognize or respond to her name at this time. While she speaks both Spanish and English fluently, Ms. Correa may be more likely to conversate in Spanish if approached. Vivien is known to frequent the areas of Egelston Square and 1010 Massachusetts Avenue. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ms. Vivian Correa is urged to contact 911 or District E-13 detectives directly at (617) 343-5628.

Trespasser struck Gloucester.

On February 7, 2018 at approximately 7:35PM Transit Police officers assigned to the North District received a radio call to respond to Gloucester for a person possibly struck by a train. Several TPD units along with Gloucester Fire and EMS responded. Transit Police personnel on scene report the following preliminary information: a male while trespassing on the right of way in the vicinity of the LaPage Lane, Gloucester was struck by an outbound Rockport Line MBTA commuter rail train on track #1 . The male, approx age unknown at this time, has been pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained.

Transit Police detectives along with the Essex County DA's Office are investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident. Foul play is NOT suspected.

Somerville man arrested for Indecent Assault.

Jose Nunez

On February 5, 2018 at approximately 7:17PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Broadway Station for a report of an assault. Upon arrival officers were met by the victim, a 28 year old female, who relayed the following : while ascending up the escalator at Broadway Station she was indecently assaulted from behind by an unknown male. The victim further stated a male who witnessed the assault intervened and pulled the assailant away from her. Officers then spoke with the male witness who pointed out Jose Nunez, 28, of Somerville as the offending party.

Officers approached Nunez and placed him into custody. According to the arresting officers Nunez admitted to the assault and stated "What's the big deal.... I wanted to do it". Nunez was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.

Gardner woman arrested for Larceny after stealing conductor's purse.

Sarah Fiahlo

On February 3, 2018 at approximately 12:15am Transit Police officers assigned to the North District and assisted by Natick PD received a radio call to respond to the Natick Commuter Rail station for a larceny investigation. Upon arrival officers were met by the victim, a Keoilis employee, who reported a passenger, later identified as Sarah Fialho, 31, of Gardner stole her purse containing cash, credit cards and other personal items. Officers recovered the victim's possessions from Fiahlo's person. Officers subsequently discovered there was also a warrant in existence for Fiahlo's arrest issued out of  Quincy District Court for Trespassing.

Fiahlo was placed into custody for Larceny Over 250.00 and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.
