On August 8, 2021 at approximately 8AM a female victim reported to Transit Police while she was passing through the MBTA's Forest Hill's Station she was indecently assaulted by an unknown male. The victim provided a description of her assailant to officers who immediately conducted an area search to no avail.
Subsequent to an investigation by Transit Police detectives on August 17, 2021 JEROME REED, 61, of Mattapan was placed into custody for Indecent Assault and Battery. Redd was transported to TPD-HQ for the arrest booking process. REED is a Level 3 Registered Sex Offender (See status here)
