Argument over music turned into physical confrontation.

Joseph Carrigan
On April 13, 2020 at approximately 4:45PM Transit Police officers assigned to the North District received a radio call for two persons fighting at the Maverick Sq. MBTA station. Upon arrival officers ascertained the following: a male later identified as Joseph Carrigan,44, of Revere instructed another male, later identified as Tristen Phillips, 31, of Malden to turn his radio down due to the offensive language of the lyrics. An argument ensued and ultimately both parties engaged in a physical confrontation where they assaulted one another with a knife (Phillips) and a pair of scissors (Carrigan).
