Revere man caught breaking into Dunkin Donuts at Ruggles Station.

On January 7, 2020 at approximately 3:46AM Transit Police officers assigned in the South District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Ruggles Station for an individual breaking into the Dunkin Donuts located within. Upon arrival officers observed a male, later identified as Kamil Mogielnicki, 35, of Revere. Mogielnicki had a t-shirt covering his face only his eyes were visible. Officers detained Mogielnicki and ascertained the following: An employee was present inside the Dunkin Donuts and fearfully watched as Mogielnicki attempted to break inside using a knife and blunt object on the window. The employee then called 911.

Mogielnicki was placed into custody and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. During this process it was discovered there was a warrant for Mogielnicki's arrest  issued from Dorchester District Court for Drug Possession. Additionally, during the booking process Mogielnicki was found to be in possession narcotics for which he did not have a prescription.
