On August 5, 2015 at approximately 2PM Transit Police officers working in Area 3 were conducting Point of Entry Policing at the MBTA's Quincy Center station. While there they observed a male, later identified as
Paul Weaver, 48, of Quincy smoking from a cigarette directly next to a "NO SMOKING" sign. Officers approached Weaver to educate him regarding the prohibition of smoking on MBTA property and subsequently discovered Weaver was wanted out of Norfolk Superior Court for Kidnapping and West Roxbury District Court for Assault and Disorderly Conduct.
Weaver was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
