Boston man arrested for Lewdness

On April 11, 2014 a female victim reported to Transit Police the following: after boarding an inbound Green Line trolley at Haymarket MBTA station at approximately 8:30PM she noticed a male seated directly across from her. The male reached into pants, exposed himself and began masturbating. The male exited at Park Street station. On April 28, 2014 we posted photographs (see posting here) seeking assistance in the identification of the offending male.

Subsequent to an investigation by Transit Police detectives Ronald Foster, 50, of Boston was arrested relative to the above described incident on 07/27/2014 near the Boylston MBTA station. Foster was transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process and is expected to be arraigned sometime today in Boston Municipal Court-Central Division for Open & Gross Lewdness.

Point of Entry Policing- JFK/UMass station

On July 24, 2014 at approximately 5:45PM Transit Police officers working in Area 3 were conducting Point of Entry Policing at the MBTA's JFK/UMass station. While there they observed a male, later identified as Eric Barrett, 32, of East Boston fare evade by "piggybacking" in behind a paying patron. Officers approached Barrett for the purpose of issuing a citation and subsequently discovered there was a warrant in existence for Barrett's arrest issued from Lynn District Court for Malicious Destruction of Property over 250.00. Barrett was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.

Peter Clancy

On July 23, 2014 we posted photographs of individuals of interest relative to a bicycle larceny which occurred at Davis Sq, MBTA station (see posting here).  On July 24, 2014 at approximately 8:30PM Transit Police officers responded to Davis Sq, MBTA based on an anonymous tip received via our Text a Tip line (873873). Upon arrival officers located a male, later identified as Peter Clancy, 52, of Arlington  and positively identified him as one of the subjects responsible for the bike theft. Clancy was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. It is expected Clancy will be arraigned sometime today in Somerville District Court for Larceny of a Bicycle.

On Tuesday, July 1, 2014, between 4:45 PM & 5:00 PM, the two subjects depicted within were observed on surveillance video stealing two (2) bicycles from the bike racks located on the Holland Street side of Davis MBTA Station in Somerville.

On Saturday, July 5, 2014, at approximately 1:17 PM, the subject depicted within stole a locked, yellow Dahon Brand folding bicycle from Back Bay MBTA Station.

The subject is described as follows:
      A black male with a medium build, approximately 5’08’’ in height, wearing an off-white bucket style hat, a green polo shirt, grey shorts, grey sneakers with white soles, and carrying a black bag.

Missing Person Alert: Edward Bullock

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s help in their efforts to locate 67 year-old Edward Bullock who was last seen in the area of his home at 35 Lamson Street in East Boston. Mr. Bullock is 5'8" tall and weighs 145 lbs. According to family members, Mr. Bullock has been missing for several days. When last seen, Bullock was wearing a light colored shirt, jeans and black sneakers. At times, Mr. Bullock is known to wear glasses. Mr. Bullock suffers from Alzheimers and has a history of running away. Anyone who sees Mr. Bullock is asked to call Boston Police District A-7 detectives at (617) 343-4234.
