On February 17, 2021 at approximately 9PM a 38 year old male while exiting the MBTA State Street Station was attacked from behind by several males who punched and kicked him about his face and body. Once on the ground one of the victim's attackers removed the victim's cell phone and wallet from the victim's pocket and fled.

Based on an investigation conducted by Transit Police detectives Damos Reddick, 36, of Boston and Justin Mackenzie, 32, of Boston were arrested on February 18, 2021 for Unarmed Robbery and Assault & Battery w/a Dangerous Weapon: Shod Foot. The arrestees were transported to TPD-HQ for the arrest booking process.
