David Callinan

While there they had their attention drawn to a male, later identified as David Callinan, 42, of Malden. Callinan fare evaded by "piggybacking" in behind a paying customer. Officers approached Callinan for the purpose of issuing a citation. Initially Callinan furnished the officers with a false name. Undeterred the officers discovered his true identity which revealed Callinan had several warrants in existence for his arrest issued from Boston Municipal Court-Central Division for Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, Possession with intent to Distribute a Controlled Narcotics and from Roxbury District Court for Assault & Battery on a Police Officer and Possession of a Controlled Narcotic.
