Roxbury man arrested twice in a 55 hour period for stabbings.

 On January 27, 2021 at approximately 2PM Transit Police officers assigned to the South District were on patrol at the MBTA's Nubian Sq. Station when they were alerted to a confrontation and immediately proceeded in that direction. Upon arrival officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent (Non Life threatening stab wound) and witnesses pointing out a male, later identified as Cyier Ayala-Jones, 18 of Roxbury as the victim's assailant. Ayala-Jones was quickly walking away from the officers who ordered him to stop. Ayala-Jones refused to comply and continued walking away. Officers caught up to him and a struggle ensued. Ayala-Jones was ultimately brought under control and placed into custody. Once inside the officer's cruiser Ayala-Jones began to kick the windows and door causing damage. The knife used in the assault was recovered and the victim was transported to a local area hospital for emergency surgery. Ayala-Jones was processed at TPD-HQ for Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon Knife. 

Allegedly the altercation began over "Looks" and words were exchanged. 

On January 29, 2021 at approximately 9PM Cyier Ayala-Jones, 18, of Roxbury was at Nubian Sq. station again and this time accused another adult male of allegedly looking at his female companion. According to witness statements Ayala-Jones brandished a knife and attempted to assault the alleged looker. Ayala-Jones' female companion attempted to prevent him from doing so and she herself was stabbed by Ayala-Jones in the shoulder area. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for a non life threatening stab wound. Ayala-Jones was placed into custody and transported to TPD-HQ for the arrest booking process. Ayala-Jones to face Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon to wit Knife.

Leicester man arrested for Lewd Conduct.

 On January 19, 2021 at approximately 9PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District were on patrol at the MBTA's Back Bay station. While there they were approached by a female victim who reported a male, later identified as Tyler Logan, 28, of Leicester was staring at her and committing a lewd act. This was alleged to have occurred at the fare gates to the Orange Line. Officers located Logan still within the station and based on a positive ID and other corroborating evidence Logan was placed into custody for Lewd and Lascivious Conduct and transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process. During the booking process it was discovered Logan had warrants in existence for his arrest issued out of Boston Municipal Court for Domestic Assault and Battery, False Fire Alarm and Trespassing

Medford man returns to the scene of the crime.

 On January 11, 2021 at approximately 9AM Transit Police officers assigned to the North District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Alewife station to take a report of Breaking & Entering regarding a private business located within. Officers interviewed the reporting party and recorded items stolen and other pertinent information. 

Approximately 4 hours later, on the same date, based on a review of surveillance cameras a very observant TPD Sergeant located an individual on Steele Place just outside of Alewife Station fitting the description of a person he observed on the surveillance footage. The TPD sergeant approached the individual. later identified as Stephen Picard, 51, of Medford. The sergeant noticed within Picard's shopping cart were several items that were reported stolen from the earlier referenced B&E. Picard was placed into custody and transported to TPD-HQ for the arrest booking process. During this process it was discovered several arrest warrants were in existence for Picard issued from Somerville District Court for Vandalize Property  A&B on +60/Disabled, Threat to Commit Crime and  Disturbing the peace.
