On June 23, 2017 at approximately 10PM Transit Police received a report from a female victim that while she was waiting for a train at Copley MBTA station she noticed a man standing behind her. The man in possession of a cell phone attached to a "periscope" type device had the cell phone underneath her dress and between her legs in record mode. The victim yelled for the male to get away from her. The male quickly vacated the station.
Subsequent to an investigation conducted by TPD Detectives Willem Doeleman, 64, of East Hampton was placed into custody on August 22, 2017 at Transit Police HQ.
