On August 29, 2017 at approximately 3:30PM a Transit Police officer assigned to the Central District was on patrol at the MBTA's Back Bay station. While there a security guard informed the officer there was a male, later identified as Robert Sanchez, 49, of Boston who had his genitals fully exposed and was committing an lewd act. Sanchez committed this act while staring at a woman (who was in the company of her baby). The security guard pointed out Sanchez who was standing near the fare gates.
The officer approached Sanchez and placed him into custody for Open & Gross Lewdness. Sanchez was transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
