Man on stolen bicycle attacks an MBTA bus.

 On November 15, 2021 at approximately 8:45PM Transit Police officers assigned to the North District took a report of Malicious Destruction of MBTA Property. After the officers conducted an on scene investigation they determined the following: An MBTA bus made a right turn onto North Shore Road in Revere while travelling on North Shore Road a bicyclist was riding parallel to the bus. Suddenly the bicyclist cut in front of the bus forcing the operator to stop abruptly.  The bicyclist, an unknown male, got off the bike went to the buses' front door and proceeded to kick the windows. Both windows of the buses front doors shattered and the bus had to be taken out of service. The bicyclist, left the bicycle behind, and fled the scene. 

The unknown male offender, left the bicycle on scene for good reason: The bicycle was stolen. The true owner of the bicycle was reunited with his property and Transit Police detectives will attempt to identity the offending male party.

Boston man to face charges for urinating on another passenger.

 On November 15, 2021 at approximately 9:55PM Transit Police officers responded to a radio call in the vicinity of 70 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge for a male who urinated on another passenger. Upon arrival officers located the victim , an adult male, who relayed as the bus was travelling on Mass Ave he was alerted to a stream of liquid running by his feet and other passengers looking at him with their "Eyes wide open". The offending male was pointed out to the officers.

Officers approached the offending male, a 24 year old from Boston, who appeared intoxicated and had no explanation for his actions. Officers summoned an ambulance due to the level of the male's intoxication. The male was transported to a local area hospital and charges are pending for the offending male.

 Wanted for Attempted Rape. November 12, 2021 at approximately 10:30PM at the MBTA's State Street station. Help us reunite a young student with her stolen saxophone. Recognize him ?

 On October 29, 2021 at approximately 12:45PM a 16 year old Boston Public School student, while at the MBTA's Fields Corner station,  placed her BPS issued Saxophone on a bench located on the outbound platform. The student turned away briefly and at that time an unknown adult male absconded with the saxophone exiting the station. The saxophone is valued at over 3,000.00 dollars.

UPDATE: Arrest made in Civil Rights Investigation.

 On November 8, 2021 we posted an image of a person of interest relative to a Civil Rights Violation Investigation as well as Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon (see posting here )  Based on an investigation by Transit Police detectives and tips from our riding public TPD officers placed SHAWN COOK, 43, of Somerville into custody at the MBTA's Sullivan Sq. station on November 9, 2021. Cook was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process.

Identification Wanted for Civil Rights Violation investigtaion. MBTA Red Line

 On November 5, 2021 at approximately 10:53AM between MBTA Kendall Station and Park Street a female victim, in the company of her one year old child, had derogatory racial slurs directed at her as well as a glass bottle thrown at her. The subject depicted within is a person of interest relative to this investigation.
