On July 18, 2013 Transit Police officers from Area 3 responded to JFK-UMass MBTA station for a report of a body lying on the right of way. Upon arrival officers discovered a deceased white male believed to be in his 40's south of the Commuter Rail platform. Transit Police Detectives along with the Suffolk County DA's Office are currently investigating the cause and manner of the death.
