Dedham man arrested for Assaulting MBTA operator.

On November 24, 2018 at approximately 4:55PM a male attempted to board, without paying his fare, an MBTA Route 30 bus at Mattapan station. The operator advised the male he would need to pay his fare or he could not board. The male responded by screaming racial epithets at the bus operator and generally threatening him.

As the bus operator was waiting to pull out onto Blue Hill Avenue from inside the station the previously referenced male threw a rock striking the bus operator in the torso area. The offending male was screaming obscenities as he did so. The bus operator was not seriously injured in the assault.

Subsequent to an investigation by Transit Police detectives Daniel Moreno, 21, of Dedham was arrested for Assault & Battery Dangerous Weapon. Moreno was arrested on 11/28/2018.

Dorchester man Indecently assaults minor.

On November 18, 2018 at approximately 7PM a 13 year old female was selling cookies at Ashmont Station to benefit the Humane Society. The minor victim was properly permitted and had adult supervision. For a brief moment, the adult supervisor, was a short distance away to move a table. At this time a male approached the minor victim and began ask questions relative to the cookies. Shortly thereafter the male indecently assaulted the minor victim.

Subsequent to an investigation by Transit Police Detectives Mark Hurd, 56, of Dorchester was arrested for the above referenced assault. Hurd was arrested on 11/28/2018.

Missing Person Alert.

MISSING PERSON ALERT: The Boston Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in efforts to locate 14-year-old Sherron Allen of Roxbury. Sherron is described as a black non-Hispanic male, 6’00, 150 lbs., with a slim build. He was last seen yesterday, at about 2:30 PM in the area of 225 Dudley Street in Roxbury wearing a black hooded sweat hooded sweatshirt, beige sweatpants and black Nike sneakers with the words “Just Do It” written on them in orange.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Sherron Allen is urged to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.

Newton man arrested for Indecent Assault & Battery

On October 23, 2018 at approximately 9PM a female victim boarded an MBTA bus Route 553. While traveling on the bus an unknown male initiated a conversation with the victim and then began to make sexual advances towards the her. Ultimately the offending male indecently assaulted the victim several times during the bus trip.

Subsequent to an investigation by Transit Police detectives, on November 9, 2018 Sang Lee, 55 of Newton, was arrested for Indecent Assault & Battery.
