Trespasser struck MBTA State Street station.

On February 21, 2015 at approximately 11pm Transit Police officers working in Area 1 received a radio call to respond to MBTA State Street station for a person possibly struck by a train. Multiple Transit Police units responded along with Boston Fire and EMS. Transit Police personnel on scene reported the following preliminary information: at approximately 11pm a female, believed to be around 29 years of age, while trespassing on the right of way was struck by a northbound Orange Line train at MBTA State Street station. The female has been pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained. Transit Police detectives along with representatives of the Suffolk County DA's Office are currently investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident. Foul play is NOT suspected.

Trespasser struck at Park Street Station.

On February 14th 2015 at approximately 3:58 p.m. Transit Police Officers assigned to Area 1 received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Park Street Station for a report of a person possibly struck by a Red Line train. Several Transit Police units responded along with Boston Fire and  EMS. Transit Police Detectives on scene report the following preliminary information; at approximately 3:58p.m. a male, believed to be in his 30's, while trespassing on the right of way was struck by a northbound Red Line train. The male has been pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained. Transit Police Detectives and representatives of the Suffolk County DA's Office are currently investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.  Foul play is not suspected.

Man wanted for Cocaine Trafficking caught fare evading.

Ferney Duran

On February 12, 2015 at approximately 5:45pm Transit Police officers were conducting Point of Entry Policing at the MBTA's Downtown Crossing station. While there they observed a male, later identified as Ferney Duran,51, of East Boston fare evade by "piggybacking" in behind a paying customer. Officers approached Duran for the purpose of issuing a citation and subsequently discovered there was a warrant in existence for his arrest issued by Suffolk Superior Court for Cocaine Trafficking. Duran was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.

Point of Entry Policing- DTC

Christopher Delouchrey

On February 5, 2015 at approximately 4;15pm Transit Police officers working in Area 1 were conducting Point of Entry Policing at the MBTA's Downtown Crossing station. While there officers observed a male, later identified as Christopher Delouchrey, 20, of Norwood fare evade by "piggybacking" in behind a paying customer. Officers approached Delouchrey for the purpose of issuing a citation. Subsequently officers discovered there were warrants in existence for Delouchrey's arrest issued from Dedham District Court for Receiving Stolen Property over 250.00 and from West Roxbury District Court for Breaking & Entering in the Nightime to commit a Felony. Delouchrey was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrst booking process.

On Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at approximately 11:49am, Transit Police officers working in Area 3 received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Shawmut Station for a report of shots fired. This appears to be a targeted shooting. The subjects depicted within are individuals of interest relative to the above referenced incident.

 The subjects are described as follows;

 ·         Subject #1: Black male, approximate18 years of age, thin build, 5’10’’ in height, wearing a two tone light gray Northface jacket, with white stripes on the shoulders, a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, baseball cap and red Adidas sneakers.

Subject #2: Black male, approximate18 years of age, thin build, 5’6’’ in height, with braids, and wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans, tan workboots, and a black LA Kings ball cap with a gray visor.

MBTA employee prevents fleeing felon's escape.

David Smith

On February 4, 2015 at approximately 9am Transit Police officers working in Area 2 received a radio call to respond to the MBTA Maverick Sq. station for a report of an unarmed robbery. Upon arrival the officer was met by the victim as well as an MBTA employee who relayed the following: the victim, a 66 year old female, was seated on an outbound Blue Line train with her purse directly next to her. As the train pulled into Maverick Sq. a male, later identified as David Smith, 28, of Winthrop rose from his seat and forcefully grabbed the victim's purse and fled off of the train. The victim began yelling for help and pursued Smith. As Smith was fleeing through the station an observant, on duty, MBTA employee stepped into Smith's path and physically prevented him from escaping.

Smith was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. It is expected Smith will be arraigned sometime today in East Boston District Court for Unarmed Robbery of an Elderly Person.
