Find my Phone APP works again !!

On June 24, 2017 at approximately 6:30PM a Transit Police officer assigned to the North District was on patrol at the MBTA's Malden Center Station when he was approached by a victim who informed the officer his cell phone was stolen earlier in the day at Malden Center station. The victim went on to state he was utilizing the "Find my Phone APP" which indicated the phone was "pinging" on the Red Line near Central Sq. MBTA Station. With this information Transit Police were able to locate an individual, later identified as Jeremy Gillis, 33, of Cambridge at Prospect Street near River Street in Central Sq. Cambridge.


Gillis was found to be in possession of the victim's cell phone as well as other stolen credit cards. Gillis was placed into custody for Receiving Stolen Property and transported to Transit Police HQ for the booking process.
