East Boston man arrested for being a Fugitive from Justice.

Investigation
On May 10, 2017 at approximately 7:55AM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's South Station Bus Terminal for a report of a male who may have unlawfully transported his two minor children into Massachusetts from New Jersey. Upon arrival officers located the two, aforementioned, minor children, ages 5 and 6, along with other family members. The father was not present at this time. Officers determined there was an active warrant for the father, a 30 year old male from East Boston, for Parental Kidnapping 2 counts issued from the state of New Jersey. Shortly thereafter the father returned to the Bus Terminal and was placed into custody for being a Fugitive from Justice and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.

The children did not show any signs of distress but were transported to a local area hospital for evaluation.
