Wanted Fugitive nabbed by TPD

James Bonds
On December 28, 2016 at approximately 10:30PM members of the TPD's Crime Suppression Team were at the MBTA's South Station Red Line entrance when they observed a male, later identified as James Bonds, 47, of Cambridge enter without paying his fare. Officers approached Bonds for the purpose of issuing a citation and subsequently discovered he was a wanted fugitive from New Haven, Connecticut. The fully extraditable warrant issued for Failure to verify address as a Sex Offender, Assault in 3rd Degree and Assault & Battery on a Medical personnel was confirmed by Connecticut authorities. Bonds was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
