Malden man arrested for Assault.

Stephen Fusco
On August 4, 2016 at approximately 5:15PM Transit Police officers assigned to the Central District were on patrol at the MBTA's North Station Commuter Rail. While there their attention was drawn to a male, later identified as Stephen Fusco, 48, of Malden. Fusco had blood on his hands and passerby's were indicating to the officers Fusco had just assaulted another male. Officers quickly located a male victim who appeared to be suffering trauma to his head. The victim informed the officers, without provocation, Fusco struck him in the head with a brick. Boston EMS was summoned and transported the victim to a local area hospital for lacerations.

Fusco was placed into custody for Assault & Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.  Fusco admitted to the assault and stated to the officers he did not appreciate the way the victim "looked" at him.

Fusco was arraigned sometime today in Boston Municipal Court.
