Wanted Lynn man arrested by TPD.

On June 6, 2016 at approximately 11:30AM Transit Police officers assigned to the South District were on patrol at the MBTA's Quincy Center Station. While they were approached by a female who pointed out a male, later identified as Mark Melanson, 53, of Lynn whom she believed may have been following her. Officers approached Melanson to ascertain the situation and subsequently discovered there were several warrants in existence for his arrest issued from Malden District Court for Larceny Over 250.00 & Larceny Under 250.00, Salem District Court for Shoplifting and Lynn District Court for Destruction of Property Over 250.00 and Failure to Provide DNA Sample.


Melanson was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
