Medford man arrested for Open & Gross conduct

Michael Frechette
On March 21, 2016 at approximately 1:15PM a female passenger, while traveling on an MBTA Green Line trolley in the vicinity of Arlington station, noticed a male passenger position himself in close proximity to her. The female, noting there was room for the male to have his own space, moved away from the suspect male. The male followed her and again positioned himself in close proximity. Shortly thereafter the female observed the suspect male masturbating. Another passenger intervened and demanded the suspect male cease his behavior. The suspect male exited the trolley at North Station and vacated the area.

On March 28, 2016 at approximately 10:15AM Transit Police detectives, after a thorough investigation, did place Michael Frechette, 45, of Medford into custody at MBTA Wellington Station for Open & Gross Lewdness. Frechette was transported to TPD HQ for the arrest booking process and was arraigned in Boston Municipal Court-Central Division on the same day.
