Trespasser struck MBTA Broadway

On December 8, 2015 at approximately 6:55pm Transit Police officers assigned to Area 3 received a radio call for a person possibly struck by a Red Line train at MBTA Broadway station. Multiple Transit Police units responded along with Boston Fire and EMS. Transit Police personnel on scene report the following preliminary information: a male, age unknown , while trespassing on the right of way was struck by an inbound Red Line subway train. Boston Fire extricated the male and he was transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries. Shuttle bus service was set up between JFK and Park Street.

Transit Police detectives are currently investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident. tpdnews
