Point of Entry Policing leads to arrest of Weymouth woman

On November 3, 2015 at approximately 5:30pm Transit Police officers were conducting Point of Entry Policing at the MBTA's Quincy Center station. While there the officers observed a female, later identified as Debra Pittman, 39, of Weymouth fare evade by "piggybacking" in behind a paying customer. Officers approached Pittman for the purpose of issuing a citation and subsequently discovered there was a warrant in existence for her arrest issued out of Quincy District Court for Shoplifting. Pittman was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. During the booking process Pittman was found to be in possession of a controlled medication
without a prescriptions. Pittman will be additionally charged with Possession of a Class E substance.
