Quincy man wanted for Assaulting Public Employee arrested by TPD

On January 19, 2015 at approximately 9:40pm Transit Police officers working in Area 1 were on patrol at the MBTA's South Station Commuter Rail. While there they located a male, later identified as Kevin Carter, 27, of Quincy who was observed behaving in a suspicious manner earlier at the MBTA's Chinatown station. Subsequently officers discovered there were several warrants in existence for Carter's arrest issued out of Boston Municipal Court-Central Division for Assault & Battery on a Public Employee, Possession of a Class A Substance, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest and Furnishing a False Name and Shoplifting warrants issued from Chelsea and Somerville District Courts.  Carter was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
