Man wanted in Florida arrested by TPD

Joshua Schuler
On November 23, 2014 at approximately 12:40am Transit Police officers received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's South Station Bus Terminal for an unknown disturbance. Upon arrival officers were directed to a male, later identified as Joshua Schuler, 27, of Jacksonville, Florida. Schuler was behaving in a aggressive and threatening manner towards security officers when they asked him to leave due to his loitering. Transit Police officers subsequently discovered there was a warrant in existence for Schuler's arrest from Tampa, Florida issued for Grand Theft Larceny. Officers confirmed with Florida law enforcement officials Schuler's warrant was fully extraditable. Schuler was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. Schuler will be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court-Central Division for being a Fugitive from Justice and eventually Florida law enforcement officials will travel to Boston to assume custody.
