Help Boston Police locate suspect wanted in Death Investigation

Boston Police Department Seek Public’s Help in Efforts to Locate Suspect Wanted in Connection to the Death Investigation in the area of 45 Bowdoin Street: At about 4:05pm, on Saturday, November 8, 2014, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 45 Bowdoin Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located an unresponsive female, believed to be in her thirties, suffering from life threatening injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. Pending the results of an autopsy, the cause and manner of death will remain under investigation. The victim’s name will be released once the autopsy has been completed and formal identification of the victim has been made by family.
During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to establish the identity of the suspect wanted in connection to this incident. As such, detectives have released a photo of and are asking for the public’s help in their efforts to locate Paulo Rosa, 30, of Dorchester. Rosa is known to drive a blue G37 Inifiniti Coupe with a Mass License Plate that reads: 1LZ-224.Community members who see Rosa should not approach the suspect and are asked to call police immediately.
The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with any information relative to Rosa’s whereabouts is asked to call Homicide detectives directly at (617) 343-4470.
