This scam is as old as DIRT !!

Jeffrey Bliss
On October 15, 2014 at approximately 4:30pm a Transit Police officer while at the MBTA's South Station Commuter Rail did observe a male, later identified as Jeffrey Bliss, 32, of Boston aggressively panhandling. Bliss approached an elderly couple with the same scam story used multiple times a day. You know the one, it goes something like this, " I 'm trying to get home to my family, my ( insert your relative here) is really sick. I only need 3 more dollars to purchase my bus ticket..........".

The officer approached Bliss who became agitated with the officer's presence and began to act out in a disorderly manner. It was eventually discovered there was a warrant in existence for Bliss' arrest issued out of Framingham District Court for Shoplifting. Bliss was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
