Malden man smashes out Orange Line train window, ends up in Jail.

On June 22, 2014 at approximately 3:30PM Transit Police officers working in Area 2 received a radio call to respond to the MBTA's Community College station for a report of a male slamming a brick into a Orange Line train car. Upon arrival officers observed a male, later identified as Stephen Fusco 46 of Malden,  standing in the entrance of the station. Fusco was shirtless and holding a brick in his hand. As officers approached Fusco he stated "Yeah I did it ".

Fusco was placed into custody for Malicious Destruction of Property. Subsequently officers discovered there was an warrant in existence for his arrest issued from Boston Municipal Court for Threats to Commit a Crime. Fusco was transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process. It is expected Fusco will be arraigned sometime today in Charlestown District Court.

The Orange Line train sustained 3 shattered windows located on two different doors, as a result the train had to be removed from service.
