2 Juveniles caught stealing bicycles at North Quincy MBTA

Larceny Investigation
On June 8, 2014 at approximately 7:10 PM Transit Police officers working in Area 3 received a radio call to respond to North Quincy MBTA station for a report of several youths stealing bicycles with bolt cutters. Upon arrival of the first responding officer the offending youths began to flee in several different directions. With assistance from Quincy Police, officers were able to apprehend several of the offending youths, two of whom were positively identified by a witness as active participants. The bolt cutters were recovered from one of the offending male's back pack.

Two male juveniles, 13 and 15 year old residents of Boston, will be summoned into Quincy District Court (Juvenile Division) for Larceny and Possession of Burglarious Tools. The other aforementioned youths, whom the witness could not identify, were turned over to their parents.
