On October 20, 2013 at approximately 2:15 am Transit Police officers from Area 1 received a radio call to respond to Government Center MBTA station for report of a distrubance: a male swinging a skateboard around. Upon arrival officers were approached by several witnesses who pointed out a male, later identified as
Shawn MacMillan, 22 of Medford and informed the officers he (MacMillan) just smashed out the back windshield of a parked vehicle (on Cambridge Street) with his skateboard. Officers approached MacMillan, who offered some unintelligible comments, and placed him into custody for Malicious Destruction of Property. MacMillan was transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process and it is expected he will be arraigned sometime today in Boston Municipal Court-Central Division.
