Allston man arrested for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender

On October 29, 2013 at approximately 5 p.m. Transit Police officers from Area 4 received a radio call for a male subject trespassing on the Right of Way leading to the Forest Hills Commuter Rail platform. Upon arrival officers observed a male, later identified as Matthew Johnson, 31 of Allston climbing onto the commuter rail platform from the track area. Officers approached Johnson and inquired as to what he was doing and explained the dangers of trespassing on the Right of Way. When officers queried Johnson's information it revealed an outstanding warrant in existence for his arrest issued from Dorchester District Court for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Johnson was placed into custody and transported to Transit Police HQ for the arrest booking process.
